Going Green

Meeting the citywide goal of 75% recycling

Through the use of green compostable and blue recycling bins, the Council facilities and programs will now be "no waste." 

Look for the marked bins at the Council and help us reach the citywide goal!

Hungry Planet: What the World Eats - Photo Exhibit Opening Reception

Join us for a slide presentation of the diets of 30 families in 24 countries. Their study reveals the intersection of nutrition and politics and shows that diet is largely determined by poverty, conflict and globalization.
